The Seal of God
“In Whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed (confirmed) with the Holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13).
What a powerful passage that should encourage the hearts of every believer this morning. The seal of God is the Holy Spirit that God sends to dwell within every believer; this seal (The Holy Spirit) has marked you as a child of God. The seal of God is the claim of ownership, meaning that you are property of the Lord Jesus and kept by the Power of The Holy Spirit. My friend, if you have received Jesus as Lord, you have been purchased by His blood and seal by the Spirit of God. It’s ok to stop right there and lift your hands to the heavens and thank God that you belong to Him! As you go along this day, remember God’s property is not for sale, satan can never have you again, and God does not lose what belongs to Him. “ye are sealed unto the day of redemption”. (Eph. 4:30). Father, we thank you this morning for the sealing of the Holy Spirit; we are thankful that we rest under your protection! I pray this morning that my brothers and sisters will walk in victory! Be Blessed in Jesus!!
