Strong, When I am Weak
Good morning; We are living in times when folks are really reaching out for prayer. We are praying for our country, our communities, our leaders, and praying for God to deliver us from this virus. The apostle Paul prayed, a great man of faith, one who believed in the Power of God; he said, “for this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me” (2 Cor. 12:8. There are times in life when we pray, and the answer is no. But also, there are times for God’s own reason; we must endure situations in life. The apostle Paul through much prayer, accepted his problem, not dishearten, but understanding the Sovereignty of God. Jesus spoke to Paul and said, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (v.9). My friend, understand this morning you may be going through difficult times, and it may not seem as if God is walking with you. But, through your difficulties, find how Jesus is trying to manifest Himself in your life through your situation. Allow the Power of Christ to rest upon your life in the middle of your hurt and pain. My hope is that you would have a divine revelation of the grace of God. “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distress for Christ’s sake: FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG” (v.10). Father, I pray for our readers this morning that they would feel the manifested Power of Christ resting upon their sickness, upon their pain, upon their distress, and upon their situation in life. As they feel their flesh growing weak, I pray that their spirit would be strengthened through the Holy Ghost of God. Be Blessed in Jesus Name!
